SHOWROOM

Architects choose flooring by laying samples side by side. Filter pages show a few products at a time, which makes that comparison hard online.
In a showroom the range hangs on shelves, and you pull a sample and hold it next to others. Showroom brings that to the web: the whole range as shelves, a colour filter, a hover that enlarges a sample, and a favourites tray for a shortlist. It’s a side project around the range of a premium flooring company.
The interface is dark and neutral so the material carries the colour. Whether that changes how people judge colour is something I want to test.
Where it stands
Now: the concept and first UI layouts, desktop and iPad.
Round 1: testing with AI personas. Their answers are hypotheses, not findings.
Round 2: testing with real architects and interior designers, then comparing the two.
Then: a working prototype, compared with the current filter pages.

Nothing is tested yet, and I’ll update this page as the work moves. AI is part of every phase, and I’m logging prompts and decisions as I go.
